The QuickIndex Maker creates first pass back-of-book indexes by using the Riptide™ algorithm developed by
melwin.net. The algorithm uses the latest technology in natural language processing to identify
key words, phrases, and names. The QuickIndex Maker opens Microsoft® Word™ documents using your
installed version of Microsoft® Office™. It then breaks apart the document page by page and
identifies key words, phrases, and names within the page. The end result is a printable RTF file
containing the first pass back-of-book index.
QuickIndex Maker is designed for non-professionals -- students, researchers, and writers.
The Trial Version will process only the first 25 pages of a document. The Full Version will
process the entire document. It has been tested on manuscripts up to thousands of pages.
